I bought this as a makeshift dock for the Retroid Pocket 5 (an android based handheld game system). It exceeded what I wanted it for. I was originally looking at this for a smaller travel dock for the system to change the USB C port into HDMI video out while still charging with the same port. It not only did that, but also allowed us to hard wire controllers to it as they ran out of power, plus it has a micro SD slot for even more storage. If you are looking for a very portable dock for a device with limited ports, this is a great choice

Just purchased my second one. Use them to connect Mac laptop to external monitor and other accessories at two locations. They function as expected and a good value. The labels on the various slots are hard to read, but a minor complaint since it's obvious except for the 2 USB-C slots (one for power, one for data). Also FYI, for my set up, power via USB-C needs to be connected for external monitor to work.

A stick on the top of mine says this, I never noticed it until today, so it hasn't been a problem:"The USB-A port or USB-C port does not support charging."Also the sticker says you cannot do video (USB-C to HDMI cable connected to the USB-C ports).I've had this for about two years? Maybe longer? It's really great but it has these caveats.Otherwise top quality for a decent price.

I purchased this to accommodate my work from home set up and for the most part it does a good job. Whenever I turn my laptop on it gives me a message that it needs a little bit more powerful version. I am still able to use it probably would just not plug anything else into it. I work from home on average two days a week sometimes more and this comes in extremely handy to hook up my additional monitor, keyboard, mouse, and one additional item if I chose, so I like to buy anker brand as I know it’s reliable, and they stand behind their product. I have never had anything but good results with anker products. It is a great size for portability if I need to work from somewhere other than home, it’s super easy to use basically plug-in play. It does get a little warm. I’m sure the more things that are plugged into it would cause it to get warmer quicker overall I am happy with this product. It serves the purpose I bought it for.

Excelente este HUB es el 3ro que compro de este modelo y esta marca, el primero lo compre creo que hace 4 años o no recuerdo y aún lo tengo y esta en perfectas condiciones y este último lo compre y es excelente, tengo conectado al mismo tiempo un monitor externo HDMI, un disco duro USB-C sandisk, un disco duro USB-A y un mouse USB y todo funciona perfectamente!
