The pot is beautiful and functional, but the salt sachets contain brown flecks in the salt. The flecks do not dissolve. Fortunately, only one of the salt sachets contained those flecks. I wonder what they were? Reminded me of my dad's pipe tobacco, only smaller.

pot not as described, brown, not orange, 'pattern' is just a bunch of missing smears of the glaze. there is no 'lid with a thumb hole to adjust flow' as described in the instructions. there were no salt packets. sending it back. i will say it was cute, solid, and looked new and as if it would work ok. price was right, shipping fast. i presume no problems with a return. EDIT: i presumed WRONG. there was in very small print a disclaimer that there were no returns allowed, as this is a personal health item. contacting amazon, they ARE trying to help me, as it is damaged with parts missing. we shall see. EDIT nothing done months later. read carefully and dont buy!
