I have two very early rolling awnings, and my ancient roller seems to always get misplaced. I purchased this as an extra for an emergency sign fix above the awnings, so now I have two in case I have same problem again. Seems to be made very well and does the job!

I bought this to replace my swivel arm that came with the sun shade for my front porch. I needed one long enough that I could reach, with using a step stool. The arm is shown in its extended length and works wonderfully . I’ll take the swivel arm down for winter, and bring it back out for summer days. I know it’s meant for campers but it works for this too. Give it a try…no more step stools.

Crank that came with sun screen wasn't long enough and wasn't heavy duty like this one. You may have to drill out hole on screen a little to get hook to slide in easier but not a big deal

This pole was very well-made, but the hook that it came with would not fit my awning.

Works as intended. Not sure why it costs so much, or isn’t included with upgrade kit that requires it.

Smooth telescoping action, long reach, easy to crank. Pretty much exactly what I wanted. Too early to talk about durability, but seems well-made and solid. Don't think it would be long enough for a vaulted ceiling in a Great Room, for instance, but plenty of reach for what we wanted.

It works good for lowering and raising awning. Almost better than spring loaded awnings.

Works as intended. The hook is a little tight and the colour is unfortunate. Be nice if all white, silver or black.
