I originally bought this sealant and their pro tape from a local hose shop. Quite literally was $34 after tax for them! Returned as I found them here for a quarter of the price combined. I am all for supporting the local guy, but when he/she wants to lob your head off at the shoulders, you have to go elsewhere. Products were exactly the same, so no question of quality and such. Taped and doped all my air supply in my new compressor and shop system, rock solid seals! Definitely better than the thin white tape or stinky sealants.

Sealed up all the stubborn small air leaks I had on my air ride suspension. Some connections required a little tape before applying sealant, but that was due to poorly cut threads and not shortcoming of this product. Great addition the shop!

So I’m rebuilding an engine that requires some good sealing pipe thread that can handle heat/chemicals on some pieces that screw into the block. This stuff definitely looks cool sitting on the shelf but It actually seems to go on pretty well. And although I haven’t ran my engine yet I did test it on an air hose fitting and it seem to work better than my gas line specific pipe thread. Pay attention to the size this is a big bottle, with that being said I took off a star because the container clearly labels that it should be thrown out after a certain amount of time from manufacturing. I couldn’t find any dates on the bottle and my wife contacted the manufacturer and we have yet to hear anything from them it’s been about a month.

Sometimes I have no luck with using Teflon tape to seal a threaded connection. My last attempt left a tiny drip. I decided to order this Venom Pipe Thread Sealant from Amazon. It came quickly and worked first time. It comes with the wire applicator attached to the cap.

Really one of the best bonding products I have ever used.
