Great protection, works as claimed...
The case doesn't seem thick enough to offer much, if any, drop protection. I mainly wanted it to protect my iPad mini w/ retina display with attached Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover from scratches while it was in my bag and it seems to do an excellent job for that. It was big enough so when I have the iPad mini and attached keyboard in the case it is snug, but they fit nicely. The case keeps them together also.I did not have any problems with the fit (you do have to take out the styrofoam spacer they have in the case before you use it). And I am able to pull the top cover over to close the case quite easily. I give the product high marks!

Snug fit for ipad mini retina.
Snug fit for ipad mini retina. Padding is a bit thin, but I just want the sleeve so I can put my ipad mini in my backpack and know it won't get scratched up. I don't anticipate dropping the ipad and needing the sleeve to protect it.The top part is a little bit tight to put on and remove.I'd recommend it overall.
