I’d argue that this is a better controller than the one that comes boxed with the XBox One.
A super product. If you didn’t like the D pad on the official wireless Xbone controller this one one is far better. Analogue sticks are very nice, tried it playing racers, beaten ups and a platformer just to give it a good test and forgot it was my new pad within seconds. Triggers don’t have quite the same travel but the responsiveness was just right (Dirt 4 requires very accurate analogue triggers to get the throttle and brakes balanced the way I play and I’ve had some pads fall down on that. Not this one. Triggers are spot on.)Feels just right in size and weight, cable is just the right length. The buttons have a less dampened feel on the return and so the triggers click louder... is that an issue?Seriously that’s the only ‘fault’ I could come up it with. In other words I’m never buying another MS pad. I’m buying these. Wish it came with my Xbox when I bought it instead. It’s THAT good.

A review - After 6 months of use
I ordered on the 12th April 2020 and as such have been using the controller for just over 6 months for PC gaming exclusively on a windows 10 laptop. The user experience personally has been fantastic and seamless working as soon as it is plugged in and after some extra calibration (I had one game without an option to alter sensitivity, games fault not the controller's) I am able to play any game in my steam library with controller support. The only issue i have which is why i only award 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cable, the length of cable is fantastic. However, it has a tendency, regardless of which USB port i use to come loose very easily which in turn disconnects the controller, often at key moments in a game such as mid fight in the case of assassin creed games which is frustrating at best and immersion breaking at worst.Overall however, having a controller is a nice to have item for games that support it and for the price of the controller i can happily say after 6 months of use it is comfortable to hold and use for long periods as well as being durable for those inevitable gaming rage quit moments of Alt+F4.

Served me well
Got just over a year of serious use out of this bad boy. Pretty much daily high intensity rocket league during the pandemic and it was a beast.Great colour, great price, wprked flawlessly in windows. Now at just over a year old the stick drift on the left stick has become unplayable for competative gaming and so i need a replacment. But over a year of use for like £29 is well worth it.Going to go with PowerA Xbox controller again - they have a newer model now with extra buttons ... not sure but ill give it a go

Just generally doesn't feel as good as the real thing
I mistakenly bought this instead of an actual xbox controller years ago, only realized now. My mistake, but it's given me plenty of time to get a feel for this controller. The buttons feel a little bit loose, creating a lack of feedback that makes it easy to double-press or even accidentally not press the button at all. The d-pad has the same problem but even worse, making fighting games in particular feel exceptionally bad.Overall it's functional, but it just doesn't feel good to use. It's also not compatible with anything besides what it's explicitly stated to be. For example, unlike the official xbox controller it doesn't work with android.

Brilliant third party endorsed controller
The controller was a lot lighter than I expected when I bought it but didn't take long to adjust to and is in no way a downside to the product. The fact that it is much lighter than the old Xbox 360 wired pad I had been using means longer gaming sessions don't cause as much fatigue on my wrists and hands. The design is sleek and stylish and seems very well made. The triggers are easy to press and very responsive. The fact that the controller can be disconnected for easier storage also means that the wire doesn't get damaged at the joint of where it connects to the controller like on older wired pads.

Cr@p!
Purchased this replacement Wired Xbox controller as a present for my son. Did not work from first use. LT button is faulty so that it activates frequently whilst playing a game even when not pressed. Son was most P'd off with it.Worse still. Amazon, who fulfilled the order, refused to collect it from me, so to return it I would have to get to a post office as apparently it needs to be scanned there (ok that might normally not be a major problem but bearing in mind the town I live is in the highest Covid infection area in Europe right now that is really not ideal) So I will be ordering and paying for a replacement. Probably an official Xbox item I guess .(and obviously not from Amazon!) Seems like Amazon are basically forcing people to make unnecessary journeys to a post office in the middle of a pandemic, putting people at risk, to return an item that will be binned anyway! So basically I'm going to have to write off the £40 I paid. Even in normal times if an item is sent to you that is faulty upon receipt a reputable seller would offer to collect it. (well that's in my 30 years of customer service experience) Looks like Amazon want to have their cake and eat it!

Very high quality controller, and unbeaten at this price
High quality controller, that almost feels no different to a Microsoft xbox one controller.Feels very nice in my hands, and appears to be quite durable, and can withstand my button mashing and dodge spamming in NiER Automata.I use this for my PC, and windows picked it up instantly, and installed the drivers extremely fast (and automatically without my prompting): a true plug and play experience. The wire is EXTREMELY long, so I well more than enough to reach the back USB ports of my PC under my desk.No latency issues whatsoever.Honestly, this controller is unbeaten at this price range, and I honestly would not pick up anything else, considering this exists
