elastocaloric effect
Got a 30C 2mm dia. piece out of curiosity. Started bending it and noticed a caloric effect. Kept it in bent position, let temp come down, then relaxed tension and the wire cooled down considerably. As Shaco from League of Legends says, "This will be fun."
