R WhitesLemonade cans 330ml (Pack of 6)

I bought this product because it was the only 'british' carbonated lemonade on Amazon. I was going to be on a radio show about summer cocktails, and wanted to do a traditional Pimm's Cup, with British 'lemonade' because it's purportedly more tart than American lemon/lime sodas.This stuff arrived quickly (thanks, Amazon), and when I tasted it, was immediately put off by the obvious artificial sweetener in it, which was totally unexpected. Then I looked at the ingredient list, which had both sugar and artificial sweetener! I mean, WTF? It isn't listed as a diet product, and uses both sugar and some artificial crap. That's like suspenders AND an ugly belt!Needless to say, I did NOT use this product on live radio...I made my own with seltzer, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, which is what I should have used in the first place. But...I wanted to do the traditional British Pimm's Cup cocktail, but had to backpedal because of this product.Oh, um...not recommended.

If you have had a Pims cup when visiting England, then you need an English style lemonade. Sprite and 7-up just don't do it. I prefer Schewppes, but this is almost as good and Schewppes isn't readily available in the US.

In 2018 the UK introduced a sugar tax which means that British sodas do not use pure sugar and have that bad aftertaste you used to only get in Diet sodas. If you're looking for a nostalgic taste, I am afraid, because the UK government is rightly trying to protect you from the dangers of sugar (most people get a daily allowance of sugar from their bowl of cereal).This product is fulfilled by Amazon, so you might expect to get what you ordered but, as with the other review, what you get is not what was ordered and then to make it worse, you have to phone to get a refund because "returns are not available" for this item.

No lemon taste at all imo. :-/

Very disappointing! Tasted like a generic brand lemon lime soda.

Item that was sent was cloudy lemonade, not traditional R Whites. They are very different products.

Bought for an Office Remote Cocktail Party and it was delicious!!
