(JF-F02Sarm+BS-05) ROXYDISPLAY Display Female Body Form with arms & Rectangle Brushed Metal Base

Arms are kind of useless.
I really wanted to love this. I own a tiny vintage store and use dress forms vs. plastic/fiberglass mannequins. Those are too hard to move around and this mannequin was bought to move from the store floor to the door window at night. Dress forms are limited by never having arms or heads.I was super excited when these came out. I had dreams of grandeur concerning the arms. Could I do a fist in the air, arms stretched out wide, maybe even the punk rock secret handshake, the middle finger? Can she hold handbags and wear gloves? These arms are barely flexible. Their range of motion is very limited. It's basically what you see online. You can kind of do a hand on the hip but it's more like a hand in front of the hip.In addition, the arms fall out way too easily making it annoying to deal with as well as impossible to hold anything. After they came off from the slightest touch by customers, we eventually permanently removed the arms. We're still quite satisfied with the 360 degree head and pant option, another thing few dress forms accommodate. I would buy it again but discard the arms immediately. We actually use them on their own separate from the mannequin in our "arty" editorial photos for our media but as a real option for positioning on the mannequin, they're more trouble than they are worth.

Dress Making: No. Clothing display: Ok
This dress form is good if you are in need of something simple to display clothing but in terms of actual dress making I would recommend investing in something more durable.35% restocking fee & buyer pays return shipping if it’s worth it for you to try it out yourself. Unfortunately I regret my purchase but I would recommend for boutique owners & those who are new to sewing. However, I must agree with a previous review that it is difficult to adjust the pole in the leg of the display.

Nice fully pinnable dress form
Nice fully pinnable dress form. The arms are nice, but can be a bit noisy when moving the arm. The arms are plastic with ball joints for easy posing. The arms are easy to install and remove. The cap is nice and spins on a bolt that sticks out from the neck. To use the head, the neck cap and bolt have to be removed since a bolt sticks out from the bottom of the head to secure it to the form. The stand is not super sturdy. It can tilt if you are draping heavy fabric. The pole can go all the way into the form if you are not careful since it is all foam. The pole is adjustable is in height. The pole is secured to the form with a wingnut in the leg. The nut does not tighten enough, so my form spins if you move it too quickly. I like how it is a slacks form as well so I can practice different sewing techniques. Assembly is easy, but a phillips head screwdriver is needed to assemble. The waist is 26.5" instead of 27". Good form for an intermediate sewer or display.

VERY good value!
I am really pleasantly surprised at the value and quality of this mannequin. It's light enough that as a petite female, I can easily dress and move her around. The base is sturdy but relatively lightweight.Anyone buying this display should note that the pole could possibly go all the way thru the mannequin, and not sure if that would be a bad thing or if it would stop automatically somehow- I just set her up letting it go about 5 or 6 inches in. A basic set of instructions or assembly diagram would have been nice for a newbie like me.The body appears to be made of about 2 inch thick molded styrofoam, which makes her pinnable, but the arms are of a softer foam and DO come off (making her super easy to dress). Fingers are flexible, too, which make for an interesting rings, gloves, and jewelry display. The stand is easy to assemble, and the pole screws in with a phillips head screwdriver, but hand tightening would probably work too.I was looking for a relatively inexpensive, nice looking, all around display to shoot eBay products on. I will easily be able to photograph all kinds of jewelry, coats, dresses and anything else that I have (except obviously, hats, since she's headless). I am very pleased and glad I bought this!

Exactly what I wanted & expected, and was here in a flash!
First, I'll start by saying that even though I on-line shop several times a week, I was hesitant to make this kind of a purchase on-line, and I did weeks of research hoping to not make a decision and spend money I would regret. I usually don't buy anything where I have to pay ANY shipping or return shipping. (Who wants to pay for shipping then pay more b/c you don't want it?!) So, I took the utmost care here than w/ any previous online purchase. This was additionally difficult because I rely on Reviews so much, and this had none! I'm writing now so another person feels a little more comfortable w/ this item. With that said, "Our newest family member" was delivered to our porch today. My husband said it was "easy" [to assemble], so I'm assuming there wasn't much to do, since he's not very handy. The measurements and height listed for it are right on. It's stable, well-made, and nice material. It'll serve my purpose well, which is to sell dresses, sweaters, and other garments on e-bay.

A few issues
The item arrived timely. It was relatively easy to put together except for the following sub-standard construction issues:1. The nylon stretchy cover was not completely affixed inside the bottom legs and I had to use fabric glue to go around the insides of both legs (sticky mess) to keep the fabric in place so the cover would stay smooth and not have unsightly wrinkles or catch on things.2. The screws that adjust the height on both the body of the form and the black painted pipe stand are bare and would scratch and make marks while adjusting. I used my trusty fabric glue to place a thin piece of felt over the screw opening and slid the pipes in very gently to keep the felt in place.3. The bottom flange plate of the pipe that is screwed to the floor stand steel plate was scratched and one of the round covers of the three bolts broke off during installation, again out came the all purpose glue and it's holding.... for now.
