LEPOWER Music Stand Light/ Book Reading Light/ USB and Battery Operated/ Clip on and Portable Lights for Piano, Travel, E-reader & Bed Headboard (Dual Arms)

On Xmas Eve when doing a tour of various pubs playing carols with fellow brass band members, I needed a good light to see my music so I clipped my new Super Bright Music Stand Light onto the bell of my trombone and it worked perfectly! Not only could I clearly see my music using just one of the 'antenna' but I adjusted the other one so that it was shining on the music of the euphonium player standing next to me! It was also very useful in a poorly-lit church when clipped onto my music stand. Without this, I wouldn't have been able to see the music sufficiently well to enable me to play the correct notes! Excellent value for money and I intend to buy another for the euphonium player who was also well impressed with it!

Brilliant! Big but not too heavy. Two lights, you can adjust the brightness on both heads. Bendable heads. You don't have to clip it to the book you can rest it on the chair, it stands up. Very good clipper, stays on.Came really quickly tooMum loves it :D

The single arm lamp feels quite well made and is very flexible.The light has 2 LEDs. Press the button at the top, one comes on. Want more brightness and just click it again. More than enough light.The clip is good and padded so it will hold onto most surfaces, thick and thin, and won't make any marks. Desk edges, paper books, digital books etcProblem, the base has some weight to it and will bend a thin wad of pages back and flop around if you're using it with a traditional book or magazine. Luckily the books I read are quite thick and too sturdy for this to happen.

Great product! Very bright light which you can adapt from having a total of four LED bulbs lit to just having one on to give a more subtle light. For the price this product is fantastic value in my opinion.

Really easy to use and provides a good bright light. Not quite sure why there are two lights when one slightly larger one would probably have been better. It does clip onto a surface near by and provides a good bright light which you can position where you want. Suitable for using with rechargeable batteries or plugged into computers usb slot.

I waited a bit to review this item to properly use it. Arrived in time. Poor quality but does the job. You get what you pay for. I would prefer a longer cable as cant't be replaced. USB on one side and similar to the earphone ones on the other.

On first viewing this seems to work perfectly. Depending on it's "life" it could become an excellent value purchase. USB lead supplied is about 80cm long, which is great for me, as I'm using it in a cupboard with a camera to check for any water leaks.

Absolutely rubbish quality! The switches are very temperamental, the idea is (I think) that you press once to turn one of the LEDs on and twice to turn them both on, but the switch has a mind of its own and sometimes it turns on one or both LEDs, sometimes it turns them off instead, there's no way of telling, you basically just have to fiddle with both switches until you hopefully end up with the sort of light you wanted. And to make it worse, the plug on the USB cable (the end which connects to the light) fits very badly - you as much as touch it and the light goes off, and the light doesn't then come back on automatically, so every time that happens you have to start the random switching ritual again.

The clamp is strong but not too strong. The brightness is plenty for reading. It doesn't kill batteries fast, my rechargeables last many nights with these. My only complaint would apply to any light of this design. The initial brightness can be blinding when you turn them on with eyes adjusted to the dark, and then they dim quite a bit over 30 minutes with anything but the freshest batteries. It's not a problem with this lamp but with any battery lamp. I just have to partially hide the lamp for a minute before I can look at the page. A lamp with an adjustable brightness would resolve this issue. Also, I never use the 4 light bulbs. One or two spread across the two lamps is plenty, so don't buy it for the extra LED in each lamp. The two seperate lamps IS useful though for larger books. Small paperbacks only need one.

You seriously would not think this light would be as great as it really is for this price. But, it is. I am currently conducting the orchestra for a production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's "South Pacific." As a gift, I purchased on of these lights for each of the musicians. After the second show, one of my musicians said: "You hit a home run with these lights." Everyone quickly chimed in. Then, the next night, before the show, I was in the sound booth and noticed that the sound technician uses the same light.The specs on this little thing are great. You have two separate "heads", each with two LED's. One LED is bright enough to illuminate a page of music. All four lights are just insanely bright for a pit orchestra.Each light uses 3AAA batteries and they are good for about three shows each. (Each show is about 3 hours long, including all the time the lights are on before and after.)The best feature, in my opinion, is the included USB cord that allows you to plug your light into your computer, or, in our case, rechargeable battery packs. With the rechargeable battery pack, I have no need to purchase batteries for this thing. All of my musicians bring their own battery packs, and they last the entire show.So far, these have been great.

This item is just absolutely pleasent. I wouldn't technically call it absolutely amazing, but it is wonderful in the specific action that it is meant to carry out. Truth be told, I don't technically use it in the traditional sense that it's supposed to be used in (I mostly use it while my boyfriend is asleep while I do origami or paperwork and such, and I clip it to my shirt instead of a book). But just the two settings that it has alone for brightness (moderately-bright and fully illuminated. Plus you can alternate with the two headlamps to create your own preferable brightness) excited me. The brightes is absolutely perfect for my midnight origami sessions. I feel like calling this product profound and incredible is too much. So I'm all honesty with experience this product is considered •top-notch/tip-top•, sublime and delightful.

I purchased 8 of these for singers in an Easter season Victoria concert. My Director was looking for a "candle lit" effect so they were placed on stands and were the only source of light. The pressure was on as if they didn't work, I would have been responsible for one of us being completely in the dark. No intermission to rectify the situation. They worked flawlessly and singers reported the two heads were very versatile. They have two intensity settings so really fit everyone's needs. They are also very light weight and worked mounted on folders all through dark services in the following Holy Week. You can't beat the price. It was a great purchase. P.S. Batteries not included

Good value, has toggle on, on brighter, off button for each light. Takes a couple of batteries, not sure how long they last. Don't think it shuts off on its own and it's easy to accidentally press the button and turn it on when you throw it in a bag so might run your batteries down. Provides good light on your music though, like the flexible lights and that you can point one at each page left and right on the music stand.
