Be Determined (Nehemiah): Standing Firm in the Face of Opposition (The BE Series Commentary)

I've read several of the "Be" commentaries. They are always insightful, Wiersbe was a true theologian. Be Determined is my favorite of the series so far.

Well written with difficult concepts clearly bridging old culture practices into a contemporary framework. Concepts succinctly presented in layman's terms

It provides excellent reference information for a class I’m teaching at church.

Warren Wiersbe does not disappoint! Written so any adult can use this guide, even teens. I like the way he explains the Scripture as well as cultural behavior. Excellent study guide.

Being determined is a great thing that we should incorporate in our lives. This book gives us insight, encouragement, and motivation to be determined to complete what we set out to do for God.

This book is a very good reflection on my own life and thoughts.My Lord is always reminding me that I am specially chosen by His people of the Trinity LandThis book makes me determined to keep to the Lord God;s covenant which is still very traditionally Jewish firstOther people non-jewish hates it but they have to acknowledge me aa a living lover of the Lord.Rules are to be kept and feared

The leadership traits Warren Wiersbe lists and expands on in this book will strengthen all Christian leaders but are also applicable in the business world . I needed this shot in the arm at this point in my walk as a leader in a Christian ministry organization . Excellent study of Nehemiah and application in my life .

I never realized all it took to build the wall. This book does a great job explaining the difficulties and shedding light on the entire processes from beginning to end . It definitely makes you appreciate Nehemiah’s role in leading this epic plan !

The book was easy to ready as it is with most Warren Wiersbe books. Great questions at the end of each chapter to encourage you to think and reflect!

I have not completed this study yet but am finding it helpful and challenging.

Like all his commentaries they contain sound biblical doctrine in an easy to understand way.

Kind of bland, topical overview. More suited for current evangelicalism.

Much appreciated as are all of Dr Wiersbes books.
