Angry Management

LOVE THIS BOOK! I teach all sorts or special education students with reading disabilities and they really relate to each short story in this book. I’m so sad there’s not an audio book version because some of my students prefer that then listening to me read every day!

Chris Crutcher does a marvelous job of taking characters we have met before and telling us "the rest of their story"! Again, fascinating story lines, captivating characters, and even though they are involved in high stakes drama, he is able to put some very good laughs in along the way. If you have read ATHLETIC SHORTS or the story of SARAH BYRNE, you will definitely want to pick this book up. Angus and Sarah together? Yep! But there are more just as interesting characters that you care deeply for as you read their stories of how they ended up in Anger Management group.

I had to pick a book for my Young Adult Literature class and since I read Period 8 by Crutcher, i decided to read another one of his books. My teacher suggested Angry Management. I love this book. It was not what i expected. The stories are real. In some way i could relate to all 6 of the characters. Crutcher not only made the book relatable, he made it emotional. I can honestly say i cried. Chris Crutcher is a true Young Adult author. Every teenager should read this book.

I loved this book - It was so good and cleverly written - I love the way Crutcher's characters talk to the reader or seem to and make it easy for the reader to become involved with their lives - Read it! You should not be disappointed.

Chris Crutcher has done it again. He always leaves me wanting more of his characters and with this book he gives us more. just like all Crutcher books: Loved it loved it loved it!

Your typical Chris Crutcher story. I've loved his other books and loved this one as well.

The first story is okay. Two other stories were boring.

Right from the prologue CC creates an amazing thought process. fascinating and fantastic. Three short stories and every one made me laugh or cry or both.
