NYC Curls The Curl Conditioner. (12 oz, with pump)

The conditioner, paired with the shampoo of this brand (or not) works wonderfully. I soak my hair with water and use quite a few pumps to work through my curls. This products is great or wavy or curly/kinky hair and works even better if used as a leave-in after de-tangling. The smell is soft and unique. My stylist used this on my hair and my curls were beautiful and very light, so the product isn't heavy on the hair and doesn't leave white residue if left in. My only issue is the pump, after a few uses the pump doesn't pull any product out, which leaves me having to twist open the cap to get the product out. Other than packaging issues, I love the product. I recommend to anyone male or female, old or young. This product is pretty much for anyone.

i went to carlos flores in his salon in nyc. he showed me how to use these products and i haven't had a bad hair day since! i went from using 7 products to 3, and i only use the shampoo after i swim. my mainstays are the conditioner and the curl gel. both work great, better than the thousands, or maybe millions of other products i have used over the years. good sized containers, pleasant subtle fragrance, i only use a tiny amount and will likely have the same bottles for a long time. another curly girl asked me if after using this line for 5 months if i still like it and it still works as it should - absolutely, and i really like this stuff. btw - bought the entire diva curl line about a month before i started these products, and i did not like them at all - gave them away.

This product was pretty good, smelled great. I guess i was hoping for my curls to look exactly like the pictures i saw on IG. I know we all have different hair textures but my hair is really soft, not too thick and it naturally curly. I used this after i shampooed my hair and i took my time to comb( with my fingers) the product on my hair BUT my hair looks the same when i use cantu. This product is not crunchy, leaves no residue. I like it, im sure i will love it one day. I am thinking about purchasing the curl gel but $18 is pretty steep. I will continue to do my research. If it works them i will buy. I get tired of going from product to product.

Love! It did take me forever to get the tangled out but that can be blamed on the fact that I had been just using shampoo weeks prior to get all the silicones out.I’m confident that in future uses the conditioner will work great! My hair actually feels moisturized!!! With other conditioners my hair got poofy really fast because it was lacking moisture.With this, my hair is so soft! My curls clumped together well too! Absolutely lovveee!!❤️

I get my hair cut by Carlos Flores and started using his products 1 year ago. Wow, they have certainly changed my curl!! I apply a healthy amount of product to my wet hair ("silky not milky" as Carlos says) and then just a bit of water but not enough to rinse it out. Once the product is in I scrunch my hair to train it to recurl and then add a small amount of gel to scrunch and finish it off. Scrunch dry with a microfiber towel, clip your hair (if you have time) and you're done! While I go through the conditioner at a good rate, the gel lasts me for a while. I used to use a lot of products and now I'm done to 2 for styling and the cleanser once a week to finish things off.My hair has never been curlier and honestly I've finally created a relationship with it where I seem to have a say in how the style turns out. I've used Ouidad, Devachan and all other the other "curly" products and NYC Curls is the best that I've found.

The NYC Curls line is awesome! Hair feels conditioned and soft without feeling heavy.

I bought this line in its entirety...cleanser, leave-in conditioner & gel. My curls are a combination ranging from 3A to 3C, and my hair is very fine (not thick at all). My hair is not color treated, chemically altered, or damaged. I decided to try this line after months of watching stylist videos, reading customer reviews & watching YouTube product reviews & tutorials.Let’s start with the cleanser...it’s a no-poo cleanser that truly does cleanse the scalp & hair really well. The fragrance is a bit overbearing (floral), but not a deal breaker. It left my hair soft & detangling was a breeze.Now moving on to the leave-in conditioner...this is the product I was most disappointed in. I tried every angle with this conditioner...even using directions straight off of the NYC Curls website. I tried leaving in a little, I tried leaving in a lot, and everything in between. My hair did not appreciate this product at all! It was not moisturizing at all, and I could feel the product sitting on top of my hair...like it never really penetrated. My curls were frizzy, no form or curl pattern present & dry (when it fully dried).Moving on to the gel...it’s a gel, so I have no real complaints. It definitely holds. Using a bit too much will result in crunchy & flaking curls. A little goes a long way. Both the leave-in & the gel smell like the cleanser...a very strong floral smell.I read a lot of complaints about the pump on these bottles, and I only had problems with one of them. I just don’t think these products were made for curls that need hydration. The conditioner would probably work well just as a rinse out, or even a deep conditioner, but definitely not a leave-in for my type of curls. Considering the price point of these products, I was very disappointed...it’s an investment gone to waste unless I can find someone who can use them. Hope this review helps someone!

This conditioner is everything. Its my rinse out, leave in, deep condioner, refresher, styler. This is all I use with duet of their cleanser. Absolutely the best and much better than devacurl imo (3c/4a curls).
