The Twin Block from Massage Blocks is great for releasing the traps, rhomboids, calf muscles (Gastrocnemius), Levator Scapulae, and nearly any location that can be targeted with a massage ball. The Twin Block is a vast improvement to any massage ball on the market. We do not recommend this tool alone for treatment of tension headaches as elevation of the head is important to impart the traction required for a proper sub-occipital release. No wires, no batteries, our tools are made of a solid, firm and heavy synthetic rubber that is capable of driving serious force into sore muscles and isolating movements for 'pin and stretch' mobility sessions. This tool by itself is generally not used for relaxation. It is used for tearing down tight muscles via strong pressure therapy. Trigger point therapy works, but be warned, it is also fairly intense, and is not for everyone.

Get a larger one.
I agree with the others, this is too small. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't be such a cheapskate, and order one that is larger.

Much smaller than anticipated. They sell a separate block which seems ridiculous (should be included). Instead, just prop it on a yoga block for neck treatment.

Bit big, I needed instructions.
Much bigger than I had anticipated. A little confused on how to use it. Got because my physical therapist recommend it.
