Fluke 233 Remote Display Multimeter

This meter is great ! Has a lot of features that are very helpful. One of them is a detachable screen the other is a backlit display ! I find both of theses features very worth the purchase! I find it interesting about the battery comments.... Ay time you have something that is transmitting signals to another device it's going to take power... I've had other meters batteries last a few months, not a big deal ! These batteries are 10 times easier to get to than other meters i have used. i hate having to find a tiny screwdriver to take the cover off to change the 9v .The other nice thing is the batteries are AA not 9v much cheaper and easier to come by.. If you get desperate you could always take one out of the tv remote.

I am a ASE master Tech and I love this meter. I have had it now for about a year and it gets used every day and I am still using the original batteries. Some have reviews that say the batteries leak and destroy the meter, but I only put the BEST batteries on the market in this meter so I hope I do not ever have that problem. Also I was very weary about buying this meter because of so many people say that it has a battery draw issue on the battery's but again I have never experienced this.This meter is awesome on test drives that need electrical diagnostics, just buy a good soft case for it and then (zip tie) the case to some part of the vehicle and then take the head unit with you in the vehicle. No more having to con some new tech into crawling into the engine compartment while you go down the highway :)I also like how I can use this on hybrid vehicles, (FOR SOME FUNCTIONS UNDER CATIV 600v and CATIII 1000v) , have you ever had a Hyundai hybrid roll in your shop with a exploded hybrid battery that melted the case? you will be glad you have this meter (And insulated gloves) it may save your life :)

Amazing meter. Great wireless connectivity. Im upgrading from an oriellys PT meter. So this is quite the upgrade. Very accurate, no complaints here

I have worked on cars for years. This is my 2nd one of these. My last one under hard use lasted for years (not sure how many but this model had just come out) until it was dropped from car lift. New version does shut off after sitting without using so it won’t burn through batteries as fast. The detachable face is very useful. Fluke is best company in world for multimeters.

I'm not an electrician, but I do have a boat that I maintain myself (marine electrical is beyond the reach of union goons and therefore an owner can do whatever work he or she wishes and feels competent enough to do). The electrical for the boat is mostly in the galley and engine room, with long runs throughout the boat. The remote display allows me to be on the flybridge manipulating switches or connections while seeing the impact on the circuit via the meter which is two decks (and multiple layers of fiberglass and wood) below.For a while I was put off by the price, but now that I've used it I could NEVER go back. You might as well tie one hand behind my back - that's the difference this thing makes in terms of efficiency/level of effort. If this thing were to fall in the drink it would be replaced without blinking.

Description very clearly states that meter will be shipped with fresh NIST calibration certificate. No certificate at all was included. Otherwise, it is just an off the shelf 233 meter. Beware of false advertising.
