Worth the extra money

Saw a great YouTube video of this process and it was tedious ( I did not remove the drive belt) but was overall an above-average task. I made one mis-step. I did not drain the oil first. (must have missed that one in the video) Lot's of paper towels later, not an issue.

After going through a few Caltric parts, I broke down and spent the extra money for the RMStator brand -- and I am GLAD I did!First, you get a complete connector at the top end. No cut-n-splice, no need to figure out how to un-pin leads, just a reliable, solid connection.Second, the regulator connection is solid and easily "Clicks" to lock into that connection -- the other parts did not always do that.Finally, the performance is top notch! Once installed, I ran a DC voltage test - WOW! 14.29 volts at the battery at idle....raise the RPM's and the regulator held an even 14.29 volts -- not the slightest waiver in voltage delivery.And, they offer a guarantee? YES!NO LONGER will I buy the other brand -- you can save money and get a cheap part that you will change out many times, or you can put up a bit more cash and get a ton more quality! Do yourself a favor - buy this quality part and dispense with the headaches that come with the cheap stuff.

I have a 2007 vulcan 900 classic B. USAI just wnat it to said the if your purchase this stator,the conector will not match with the original. I did installed and i never compared the connection and i was having a main fuse blowing at all the time.i end up putting the old connection to make it work the conector is set in different order.

I like the way it had all the plugs attached and the wiring was the right length to fit my bike perfectly. I'll update in the future if there is an issue, but I fired up my bike after the install and it sounded better and my battery now stays charged.

Plug and play item exact match fit perfectly no worries battery charging nicely running quietly.

Old battery wouldn't charge so got this new stator and now the battery charges. Going for a long motorcycle ride!

After installation, the output ranged from 9.0 to 17.5 and idled at 12.1. I then installed a used OEM Stator, and the range is consistently 12 to 13, where it should be. I have no confidence in remanufactured Stators.

It’s working Nice

The fit is identical to the original.It tested to be working as it should.

Wiring was all good to plug in .had to wait a little while for regulator but all fitted good not on long enough to make a opinion on how long it will last looks good
