Nice tubs just at the lids were broke

I was leery to order, considering all the bad reviews on here, but considering that I had recently purchased some of the clear 12 qt tubs from Iris and loved them, I decided to give these a try. I was not disappointed a single bit!They came 100% intact and functional, all the lids all the bins. They're not the most expensive, durable plastic in the world, but c'mon, you spent $30 on 6 of them! Unless you're planning on tossing these around carelessly with a bunch of weight in them, or maybe having a storage bin fight with your friend, I'm not sure why the concerns are so high for breaking them in these reviews. I don't think I'm particularly careful with the bins and I have no concern of them breaking whatsoever.If you're looking for a set of cheap plastic storage bins that look good then these are probably for you, I'm not seeing anything comparable at this price anywhere else.I wasn't offered anything for this review, I just wanted to tip the scale on the bad reviews considering my positive experience. I personally think Iris makes a fabulous set of products and I will continue to order from them.

I love the look and hoped they'd be of the sturdiness of a Sterilite tub but they are fairly thin and I already cracked a lid somehow right by the locking handle. I wasn't packing it hard or tight so it may have been damaged in shipping or come from the factory that way? I'll probably buy more but only so that my whole room matches.

The product was delivered on time, with the manufacturer's packing inside the Amazon packing. Both boxes were not damaged at all. Inside the we found splinters of plastic all over. We had order a set of 6 and 4 of them were badly broken beyond any use. Horrible product. Dont buy this as the plastic is very flimsy and seems could break easily. I contacted the service desk with the email I found on the Website and sent them the pictures. Nobody even bothered to respond. STAY AWAY from this product and spend your money somewhere else.NOTE to Amazon: You should really give the users the option to put zero stars. I am forced to give this crap of a product 1 star even though it doesnt deserve that.

I was under the impression these would be more like heavy duty bins. I mean, they are advertised as being “thick” stacking guns right? Lol. Saying these are thick plastic is crazy… they’re not at all. They’re also labeled as “stacking” bins but the lids are to thin.. if you put anything w/ even a slight amount of weight in it, then stack them, they’re going to buckle & crack. 100%. They don’t stack nicely either. Even w/ the indented lids & bottoms that normally lock together very nicely. But they don’t. So idk what the purpose of them are. Besides taking away from storage space.There is also no “seal” it just latches. Idk if they’re advertised that way, the prompt on here is asking to comment on the “seal” so i figured I’d address that.These do not keep out humidity. They’re not supposed to be air tight. But usually latching bins seal out humidity pretty well. But These do not. I think it’s bc the plastic isn’t very sturdy.. so there’s not a great seal to them. I tested this by putting 2 different hygrometers in the bins in my plant room (where I needed these for) which is a very humid room… & they only had a 2% difference. When I used silica packets it worked better. Obviously. Bc that’s what silica does. But even w/ the silica packets it still just didn’t work as well as the Big box latching bins (non air tight) so yeah. They’re not the worst. But not the best & but either way, the way they’re advertised is quite misleading. They’re the same quality as what you’d find at a discount bargain outlet. So they work. But they’re not going to be very sturdy or last a while. But they hold things & I guess they technically can be stacked. But not in the way that more higher quality bins stack.

These are Really Great storage bins and believe me I have used many different brands and kinds in the past and these are really great Bins. I ordered mine and the Shelving Units from the same seller and not only did they all arrive earlier than expected but they come packaged very nicely and they match the colors of the Storage Racks if your buying both from the same Seller. I purchased 2 Narrow Tier and 1 Large Tier that came with 4 of these Storage Bins and they are Sturdy and work GREAT and highly recommend them to any and All who are looking for a Great Bin at a Great Price...!!! 👍
